I could be talking about more than just this photo when I call it "The Impending Unknown". I take the MCAT again on Friday. A little over 24 hours from now. Yikes!! Yet I'm going into it this time with MUCH more confidence and poise, I know my strengths and where I stand now. I will unleash my fury!! Okay. Anyway, I know it's July and I'm posting a snowy scene, but hey, in Houston we can have wishes right?

Sorry I've been so absent lately. I've been so bad about keeping up with photography in general, it's just that I'm re-taking the MCAT on July 13th, and I am determined to do really well. Here's my sidekick 3 with its GORGEOUS newly-blinged case, compliments of Twinkle It.com. Jan is a fantastic artist and highly skilled in her trade, each crystal is perfectly placed and her customer service and communication are bar none. I highly recommend her.

Sorry it's been so long. Lot of stuff going on. Applications are still underway and that's taking up most of my time. That, and work. This is a shot of Winnie back in December or January-so little! Awww. She's doing really well with her training. She can sit, stay, come, watch, and is in the process of learning heel and down (down isn't going so well).

Erik as "Nanuk of the North" (spelling?). Norway was chilly, though surprisingly not as cold as last time (-10C, hello!). Temps stayed around the middle mark, 0C, sometimes +1, sometimes -1. Snow melted and skiing was slushy. Mild temps like this call for clouds and unattractive photography weather. Oh well, one can't hope for idyllic weather two years running, that'd just be too lucky. I tried my best with what was handed to me.

Sorry it's been so long. It's hard having a full-time job AND inspiration/mobility to get back into landscapes. For now you'll just have to settle with my pets.

Okay, last one I promise. At least for a little while. She is being held by Lukas, my 14 year old brother who has a knack for making dogs adore him.

I hope everyone had a very merry christmas Kristmas! Winnie was adorable as always. Emma and Wins get along famously, play-fighting their way through the lazy days. I go back to work on the 2nd, so I'm enjoying my time with my bebes before my days are vastly shortened. This photo was kind of a lucky shot, freezing the head and forelegs only, while the background and hind legs are blurred with motion. Thoughts?

It wasn't too long ago I introduced my first pet, Emma (a cat). And now, I'd like to introduce to you my second: Bunny Winnie. It's a tentative name, but it's primarily because she bounces and hops around like a rabbit. When she has an accident we call her Winnie the Poo. And she's just so darn cute. Housebreaking her is going to be hard, but I'll stick it through. And in other news, I got my first med school interview a couple of days ago and I'm so excited!

This was taken way back at the Renaissance Festival about a month ago I'm thinking....maybe 3 weeks, not sure. Anyway, yeah, that's where it was taken. Other than that, life has been pretty good lately. It's been so great working at this dermatologist's office in a clinic, so rewarding. I adore each and every one of my coworkers. I'm gonna peace out and watch one of my new Netflix movies! Hope my favorite people are all doing well!
