Calibrate Tool

A convenient, quick and easy tool to make sure your screen is optimized to view 84.NET photos at the appropriate brightness and contrast level.

Step 1.

Open your monitor's display settings (may be located via monitor buttons, display preferences, or a unique preference set in the control panel). For Mac OS X, open System Preferences, and locate your computer's Display setting.

Step 2.

Adjust your contrast all the way to its highest setting. Then slowly increment your brightness down, until you can see a clear difference between all shades (especially the near-black and near-white shades). If you prefer to customize further, you can change the contrast as well. Make sure when dimming the brightness, that the whitest box actually looks white, not tinted!

You're Done!
